Coimbatore Corporation’s Dengue Prevention League Concludes with Impressive Results
The recently concluded Dengue Prevention League, organized by the Coimbatore Corporation, has yielded remarkable outcomes in the city’s fight against dengue fever. The league, which lasted from August 4 to 14, aimed to eradicate mosquito breeding sources throughout Coimbatore.
A total of 44,65,735 source reductions were achieved across the five zones, with the East Zone taking the lead with an impressive 11,84,259 reductions. The West Zone followed closely with 11,04,773 reductions, while the Central, North, and South zones recorded 9,43,248, 8,92,714, and 3,40,741 reductions, respectively.
