Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has proposed a revolutionary idea to bring about a significant change in the country’s political landscape. Mr. Reddy plans to discuss this issue with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge during his visit to New Delhi on July 27. He will request Mr. Gandhi to consult with INDI Bloc partners and other parties to build consensus on this matter. The Telangana government is set to pass a resolution in the Assembly in August, which could potentially pave the way for a Private Members’ Bill in Parliament.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the country needs to listen to the voice of the youth and give them a chance to participate in the political process. Mr. Reddy also expressed his willingness to introduce a resolution in the Telangana Assembly and send it to the Centre for further discussion.
